Reno Road Trip

I left Reno at 6:30 am. I just stopped in Bridgeport for breakfast and to thaw out! It's been a cold ride so far! It was 28 when I went over a 7000 ft pass. Looking forward to it warming up soon!

We final got Dave's bike fixed. It turned out to have a hole in a fuel line inside his gas tank.
We are now in Laughlin and settling down for the night. We'll be heading home tomorrow. At least I get to miss another day of work! :)

We just made it to Laughlin. Man is it hot out there! It was 115 when we stopped in Amboy. I don't know what it is here but it feels even hotter! Thank god for the cooling vest! I actually was pretty darn comfortable the whole ride.

Wow! What sn awesome ride today. We road the ferry across Lake Powl, went to the Natural Bridges, road down a radical gravel switch back road that went strait down the face of a canyon wall and ended up in Mexican Hat, UT. We had such a good time at the swinging steak here! Our bar tender was really nice (and hot!).
Tomorrow we will ride through Monument Valley.

Great ride today! The scenery seemed to change around every corner. What a beautiful ride! W are now in Hanksville, UT where we will spend the night. I'm looking forward to a hot mexican dinner and cold beer tonight!

Utah Road Trip

I'm leaving thus morning for Cedar City, UT to meet up with my old high school buddy, Bob. It should be about an 8 hour ride. Bob and I will then spend the next 4 days riding through some of the most beautiful scenery on earth! I can't wait!

Laughlin Day 3

Wow yesterday was fantastic! Great ride and the Grand Canyon was spectacular! On the way back from the Canyon we stopped at American Legion post 88 in Arizona and had a really good time there. The post commander bought us a round of drinks and gave us one of their post license plates.

Today we are going to have breakfast down by the river then ride up to Oatman, AZ.

Laughlin River Run

We left yesterday for the motorcycle rally in Laughlin, NV. It rained on us a little going through the Banning Pass and was very windy going north on the 62 through Yucca Valley. The rest of the way was on old Route 66 and was a pleasant ride. To day we road to Oatman, AZ. Tomorrow we are riding to the Grand Canyon and the Sky Walk. I'm really looking forward to that!
